Traditional movie environments can be overwhelming due to loud sounds and total darkness. Sensory-friendly nights address these triggers through these specific adjustments:
Modified Lighting: House lights remain on at a dimmed level rather than being turned completely off, helping to reduce anxiety and eye strain.Lowered Volume: The movie's audio is kept at a lower, more manageable decibel level to prevent auditory overload.On Screen Open Captioning - when available.Freedom of Movement: Audience members are welcome to get up, walk, dance, or move around the theatre as needed.Acceptance of Noise: Guests are free to talk, sing, shout, or "stim" (self-stimulatory behavior) without fear of being "shushed" or judged.Quiet Zone: quiet area available for breaks if needed.Lowered Lobby Lighting.Earlier Evening Showtime starting at 6:30 pm with Reduced Capacity Seating - first come first serve!
